Pumpkin Spice Syrup
I love a good PSL as much as the next basic queen, but making your own takes it to a whole new level. I mean, can it really be basic if you make it from scratch?

1/3 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup turbinado sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1.5 cups water
3 sticks cinnamon
1 whole nutmeg, broken open
1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
1/2 teaspoon whole clove
Cheesecloth
Instructions
Whisk together water and both sugars in a medium saucepan, heat over medium-high heat until sugar is melted but not boiling.
Add pumpkin puree and whisk until incorporated, then add cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and clove.
Lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Slowly pour syrup through cheesecloth over a strainer.
Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Quick Hit
This is a really easy recipe, it’s difficult to mess up. My tip to you is to try it on anything and everything possible - coffee, pancakes, muffins, bread - or just drink it straight from the bottle.
